How to root Galaxy Y and Chainfire 3D

Boring games on your SGY? Want to play HD games? Then here's how! 

Rooting Galaxy Y is not that hard, but there is some risks when doing it... here are the steps:

1. Download "update.zip"  HERE

2. Move the update.zip file to sd card (not in any folder) and switch off your phone

3. Then boot your phone with VOLUME UP+HOME KEY+POWER BUTTON

4. You can't use touch controls on the recovery mode, but use up and down volume keys to    

scroll up and down, home key for enter.

5. Click "apply update from sd card", find the "update.zip" file and press enter

6. Wait for it to be installed, then your phone is now rooted!!!


CHAINFIRE 3D


This app make games not working on galaxy y works....


Download the apk+plugins HERE

Steps:


1. Extract the file 


2. Install the apk


3. Place the plugins in sd card (not in any folder)


4. Open Chainfire 3D, click CF3D Driver


5. Click install 


6. Then your phone will restart 


7. Open Chainfire 3D again and click install plugins/shaders


8. Install the 3 files, QUALCOMM, POWERVR and NVIDIA


9. You can now play HD games


NOTE: In my blog games that have this sign: [ROOT] means they are games that needs Chainfire 3D... Enjoy playing games!!!!!
